Userled is a London-headquartered AI-powered startup, which transforms the way B2B companies create and manage personalised marketing campaigns at scale. In a recent development, the company raised £4 million in a pre-seed funding round led by UK-based investors LocalGlobe (which invested in Cubbit and CuspAI), with participation from Dig Ventures.
The round also saw participation from prominent business angels, including Tessian founder Tim Sadler, Incident.io CEO Stephen Whitworth, Maze founder Jonathan Widawski and Celonis DACH GM Remy Lazarovici.
Funds utilisation
The funding will be used to continue hiring the world’s top talent to build the best martech products on the market. It will also support Userled’s mission to make advanced, scalable, hyper-personalised marketing accessible to all B2B scale-ups.
Mish Mashkautsan, Partner at LocalGlobe, said: “Userled brings the power of generative AI to reshape a complex and mission-critical workflow for marketing teams. By accelerating the creation and distribution of personalised content and capturing contact-level insights without cookies, Userled provides a seamless solution to drive efficient growth – a key priority for any B2B company, especially these days.”
AI-powered marketing platform
Userled was founded in 2023 by serial entrepreneurs CEO Yann Sarfati (Revive, former sales lead at Salesforce and Incident.io) and CTO Tristan Saunders (Revive, tech lead at American Express and lead software engineer at nate).
It is a no-code interface and AI-powered platform automating the creation and distribution of tailored, branded marketing campaigns in seconds, not weeks. Customers can deploy multiple personalised campaigns across all their target platforms from email, Linkedin, Meta and more. By integrating with existing CRM systems and major IP reveal providers, it helps track engagement, end-to-end journeys, and conversion in real-time.
The platform can do this without the need for third-party cookies. It has built a Cookieless Fingerprinting and Identity Layer that enables a full view of their behaviour at the account and contact level, all while being fully GDPR and CCPA-compliant.
This will prove useful at a time when Google, Apple and other tech companies plan to disable the use of third-party cookies later this year and into 2025.
Already, the company has helped firms, such as Wayflyer, Deel, Onfido, Encord and Elastic to drive higher lead conversions.
Yann Sarfati, Co-Founder and CEO of Userled, said: “Marketers have to put significant time and resources into manually building personalised campaigns which feel impossible to scale. They lack the tools that should enable them to do this simply and at speed to surpass the impact they can achieve through manual campaigns. Userled breaks this cycle. We’re making personalised marketing easy, accessible and efficient to give B2B companies the competitive advantage they need in today’s ever-shifting digital landscape. This funding will enable us to refine our technology and expand our team, ensuring that every marketer can harness the power of AI to drive meaningful engagement and growth.”
What do we think about the company?
With its AI-powered platform, Userled simplifies and accelerates marketing processes, enabling companies to deploy highly tailored campaigns across multiple channels without relying on third-party cookies. This innovation empowers marketers to achieve greater efficiency, drive higher lead conversions, and adapt to the evolving digital landscape, setting a new standard for personalised B2B marketing.
