Xceed: Spanish B2B platform for music events grabs €2M funding


Barcelona-based Xceed, a B2B platform that lets everyone live extraordinary experiences, has raised €2 million in funding. The investment round was led by Trind Ventures (which backed My Telescope and Jobilla) and joined by Jägermeister’s own Best Nights VC, and SuperHero Capital with the support of Angel investors, including Alessandro Fracassi, CEO & Founder at Mutuionline, Fernando Herrera, General Partner at SuperHero Capital, Andreas Mihalovits, Co-Founder of Global Super Angels Club and Lasse Laaksonen, CEO & Founder of Boksi.

The funding will fuel Xceed’s growth and new market expansion across the EU in 2023. This latest round of investment ensures Xceed remains on track to make that possible for people all over the world as it aims to revolutionise the future of the experience sector, standing for a technology-driven approach and innovation.

How was Xceed born?

Xceed was launched in Europe by Mattia Franco (who was selected by Forbes Italia as one of the top 30 leaders of the future under ’30s) and Luca Papaleo, who shared study desks and dance floors during their Master’s degree in San Francisco but often struggled to find the events they wanted.

The platform was built in collaboration with venues from four continents. It is available in over 15 countries and 125 cities and provides state-of-the-art software for the best clubs, bars, and festivals in the world.

Currently, Xceed is a team of 17, and 50% of new hires in the last 6 months are female. The current team consists of people from Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch, American, French, and Colombian nationalities, and we are currently hiring across the EU and South Africa regions.

Xceed leverages machine learning technology to create ultimate and painless live music events and artists discover experiences by coming at it from the side of the people. It is a platform created by music lovers, for music lovers. Its innovative marketplace connects event-goers and event organisers while keeping the user experience at the core of everything.

Also, it enables clients to digitise their online presence and sales, and manage their staff, marketing and operations. As the market was lacking this technology, Xceed’s arrival quickly got huge support from venues and promoters who had never before been able to entirely digitise their ticket, door, table, and guestlist management systems using just one simple and effective platform.
