Unframe, a managed AI delivery platform from Cupertino, raised $50 million in a round led by Highland Europe, bringing its total funding to $100 million.
Other investors in the round included Bessemer Venture Partners, Craft Ventures, TLV Partners, Third Point Ventures, Cerca Partners, and Vintage Investment Partners.
The US-based startup, founded in 2024 by Shay Levi, Larissa Schneider, and Adi Azarya, all of whom were senior leaders at Noname Security, transforms enterprise AI use cases into tailored, production-grade solutions within days.
Enterprises currently spend millions with firms including Accenture, IBM, and McKinsey to get AI initiatives into production. Unframe’s pitch is that it can deliver the same outcome in days at a fraction of the cost. In the pure software layer, Writer and Glean compete for enterprise AI mindshare, though neither offers the same managed delivery model.
Unframe’s open platform supplies core components, while the delivery model ensures rapid implementation. Solutions can run in the customer’s cloud, on-premises, or as managed SaaS, with no reliance on a specific large language model and no customer data leaving the enterprise without explicit consent.
The outcome-based pricing model lets customers confirm satisfaction after a set usage period before moving to a standard subscription, shifting commercial risk to Unframe. The company claims that about 50% of customers have transitioned to paid contracts. It also reached $100 million in total contract value in its first year, achieving 400% net revenue retention.
“Almost any decision-maker at any company can describe AI use cases that would be game-changing for their business. The challenge is what happens next. Moving from idea to something that actually works in production is where most initiatives stall. Unframe is closing that gap — turning ideas into fully functioning solutions within weeks,” says Jacob Bernstein, principal at Highland Europe.
Unframe currently has about 120 employees in Cupertino, Tel Aviv, and Berlin. The fresh funding will help grow its delivery capacity, improve platform, and add to its senior leadership team.
