Palo Alto–based Midi Health has raised $100 million in a Series D funding round, taking the women’s telehealth company to a valuation above $1 billion.
The round was led by Goodwater Capital, with new investors Foresite Capital and Serena Ventures joining in. Existing backers, including GV, Emerson Collective, SemperVirens, McKesson Ventures, Advance Venture Partners, and Felicis Ventures, also participated.
Addressing gaps in women’s healthcare
Midi Health was built to address some of the most persistent gaps in women’s healthcare. Around two million women in the US enter menopause every year, and untreated symptoms alone are estimated to cost billions in medical expenses and lost productivity.
“This is validation for the movement we’re leading to provide women with better healthcare,” said Joanna Strober, co-founder and CEO of Midi Health. “Women’s health has been treated like an afterthought for too long. This funding gives us the resources to rewrite that story at scale.”
Scaling care with AI support
Led by Joanna Strober, Midi offers accessible, insurance-covered services in all 50 states.
The company’s AI engine drives value in three main areas:
- Personalising the experience: AI-powered chart analysis tailors each patient’s care journey and supports faster, more accurate diagnosis and care management.
- Streamlining operations: Automation improves efficiency in scheduling, triage, and documentation.
- Improving outcomes: Mining one of the industry’s largest women’s health datasets fuels research and refines clinical protocols.
At present, the company operates in all 50 US states and works with insurers that cover more than 45 million women. Each week, over 25,000 patients use the platform to access coordinated care across OB-GYN, internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, survivorship, obesity, sleep, mood disorders, dermatology, longevity, and more.
The company uses AI to support clinical decision-making, personalise care journeys, and reduce the administrative burden on clinicians. Midi also applies AI to analyse one of the largest women’s health datasets in the industry, helping refine care protocols and improve outcomes over time.
Proven results in patient outcomes
Midi says its care model is already delivering measurable impact. The company reports higher adherence to cancer screenings, lower overall cost of care compared to similar patient groups, and improvements in key health markers such as A1c and LDL levels.
