Finnish AI-powered recruitment tool Jobilla has just secured additional funding by raising €6 million. The investment came from Juuri Partners, Trind VC, which invested in Wudpecker and Your.Rentals, Business Finland, business angels, and Matti Vikkula, who joins Jobilla as the Chair of Board. Previously, the company raised €8.25 million investment.
This investment will be used for international expansion and for the development of its AI-driven platform. It has also launched a set of AI recruitment tools.
What challenge does it tackle?
The greatest challenge for recruitment and talent acquisition professionals is finding the right talent. Due to a lack of innovation in some areas and a lack of integration with other tools in the talent acquisition value chain, the HR tech industry has failed recruitment and talent acquisition leaders.
This is where Jobilla helps as it offers the most effective and humane way to match businesses and people.
What does Jobilla do?
Founded by Henri Nordström and Tommi Siro in 2015 in Finland, Jobilla uses AI-powered candidate filtering, a mobile-supported funnel, and top marketing strategies. This combination ensures that the best candidates see the job opportunities, irrespective of their employment status.
Jobilla frees up recruiters’ and HR representatives’ time to focus on comparing candidates and finding the best person for the job. At the same time, it’s AI-driven tools also help track progress, give candidate summaries, and provide data throughout the hiring process, giving recruiters the confidence they need to make hiring decisions.
The platform will reduce campaign setup and running time by at least half by automating time-consuming tasks like ads, landing page content and email drafts, and more importantly, the processes where candidates are screened to find the right profile for a vacant position. The rigorously tested localisation function produces native-level content in most languages to attract talent in markets where companies don’t yet have a strong foothold.
Jobilla’s screening process is largely based on questionnaires designed to let candidates know if they are a good fit for the role rather than urging them to apply directly. With the new AI tools available, these questions and targeted ads can also be tailored to each candidate’s preferred language and market.
Notably, the company runs more than 8,000 recruitment campaigns yearly in more than 50 countries.
“AI will not solve every challenge a recruiter or HR department has, but as a tool, it can significantly reduce time and costs spent on just managing a hiring campaign. With our new tools, we remove many unnecessarily tedious tasks from hiring processes to let people focus on finding the best person for the job in a pool of already strong candidates. We are automating the entire prosess and this impacts directly how cost effectively our customers can solve their recruitment challenges. Now, we can do that in basically any language as well!” said Henri Nordström, CEO of Jobilla.
What do we think about Jobilla?
The company is set to transform recruitment by reducing the time and costs associated with hiring. Its AI-powered platform automates key tasks like candidate filtering and campaign setup, enabling recruiters to focus on evaluating top talent. By localisation content for diverse markets, Jobilla broadens its global reach, making it a compelling tool for companies looking to streamline their recruitment processes and access top candidates across multiple languages and regions.
