Brussels-based startup AxonJay, which builds proprietary deeptech AI assistants, has secured €1.5 million in seed funding. This follows a successful pitch at London’s Largest Demo Day hosted by Rare Founders.
Investment details
The founder of AxonJay, Jean-Phillipe met one of his investors during London’s Largest Demo Day in April 2024, where the company’s 60-second pitch caught the attention of several investors. Within days, one of these investors decided to back AxonJay, leading to a part of the investment. This rapid commitment underscores the strong market confidence in AxonJay’s vision and technology.
With the new funding, AxonJay plans to expand its AI Sales assistant and AI Private Fund assistant based on its pioneering Self-Machine-Learning Platform commercially, which are at the service of business people to augment their intelligence transparently and sustainably. The first step is to take its AI Sales assistant to the US and its AI Private Fund assistant to the Asian market where it will open offices in Q4 2024.
Vasily Alekseenko, Founder and CEO of Rare Founders, said: “We are thrilled to see AxonJay close their latest round of funding and it’s a truly incredible feeling knowing that London’s Largest Demo Day played a significant role in their success. We are hosting the next edition in October where we hope to see more startups, like AxonJay, funded as a result of our work.”
Makes AI more accessible to businesses
The company comprises a team of IT specialists, data scientists, business strategists, innovation, and sustainability people with a disruptive mission to make AI accessible and easy to use for any business. Its AI assistants help businesspeople make more informed decisions in real-time with a proven 80% better result.
Unlike traditional AI systems that rely on static and structured data lakes, AxonJay’s Data Peeling technique and Self-Machine-Learning Platform use real-time, trusted global data sources to generate thousands of signals, accurately predicting company behaviours and trends. This real-time adaptability not only makes AI more accessible but also reduces the need for extensive data science teams, making it cost-effective, sustainable and completely transparent.
The platform democratises AI, making it easy for businesses to harness the power of AI and machine learning without the need for deep technical expertise. This approach is crucial in today’s fast-evolving market, where agility and real-time decision-making are paramount.
In addition, AxonJay’s technology makes this process entirely transparent. The technology is claimed to use up to 80% less electricity, which remains one of the biggest challenges for AI.
Earlier this month, the company became the official predictive-AI supplier for SAP.
Jean-Philippe Schepens van Thiel, Founder and CEO of AxonJay, commented: “This milestone is an incredibly exciting show of what we have on offer, and we’re excited to build even further. And raising through the event was great – the Rare Founders approach to start-ups and scale-ups is exactly how AxonJay’s DNA is defined: transparent, IRT, unique, impactful, and no-nonsense! Just chase the vision with your values and the money will follow!”
