London-based software group Shop Circle has extended its Series B funding round to a total of $100 million, combining $60 million in equity financing with strategic capital from a diverse mix of European and U.S. investors. Leading the round is Nextalia Ventures, alongside existing backers Primo Capital and CDP Venture Capital, and new strategic investors including 645 Select Fund, FNDX, FG2 Capital, and entrepreneurial family offices backed by leading industrial and technology groups.
Shop Circle tackles a critical challenge faced by modern enterprises: fragmented, inefficient software ecosystems that hinder growth and operational efficiency. The company acquires and scales mission-critical B2B software products, embedding AI natively to automate operations, boost margins, and enhance customer engagement.
“We’re building the leading AI-native software platform, with a portfolio of high-impact products powering the digital infrastructure of today’s enterprise. With several acquisitions in the pipeline and a strong cash position, we’re well positioned to expand our product suite, scale our enterprise offering, and shape how modern businesses operate,” said co-founder and CEO Luca Cartechini.
Founded by longtime collaborators Luca Cartechini and Gian Maria Gramondi, Shop Circle has quickly emerged as a key player in enterprise software by operating its acquisitions hands-on with an AI-first approach. The company evaluates over 1,000 M&A opportunities annually but pursues only those with clear, mission-critical impact.
This disciplined acquisition strategy is paired with a strong commitment to operational excellence. Shop Circle’s data-driven hiring process reviews 45,000 applications each year, selecting the top 0.1% of candidates with exceptional technical skills to drive innovation and execution.
“We’re executing an AI-enabled acquisition strategy: we acquire great software businesses, centralise operations, and then drive scale through automation. This approach has already delivered margin expansion from cost savings alone, a game-changer in a sector where many operate at breakeven,” explained CFO Robin Hardt.
Recent acquisitions like KrakenD, a high-performance API gateway trusted by major commerce and fintech firms, illustrate the company’s focus on scalable, enterprise-grade technology that strengthens its growing ecosystem.
Looking forward, Shop Circle aims to accelerate growth, particularly in the U.S. market, while deepening AI integration across all products. Gian Maria Gramondi emphasised: “This round gives us the fuel to move faster, both in product innovation and strategic growth. Now, we’re embedding AI across every layer of our products, not as a feature, but as an architectural foundation to drive automation, intelligence, and scale. We are implementing AI across everything we do.”
