Procurement teams face rising costs, unpredictable supply chains, and increasing operational complexity, which have put immense pressure on businesses. In response to this, Procure AI has developed an AI platform to automate end-to-end procurement workflows.

Today, the company raised $13 million in seed funding led by Headline, with participation from C4 Ventures, Futury Capital, and other procurement industry experts to scale its solution.

Transforming procurement into an autonomous, data-driven function

Founded by Konstantin von Büren and Yves Bauer, Procure AI aims to transform procurement into an autonomous, data-driven function. Instead of forcing companies to rip and replace systems, they designed a platform that complements existing data landscapes, helping companies improve speed, compliance, and cost savings with AI-powered agents.

Konstantin, with experience at McKinsey and advanced degrees from MIT and London Business School, was motivated by the fragmented, manual procurement processes slowing enterprises down. Yves brings complementary skills in automation and optimisation.

“Most procurement tools on the market ask enterprises to completely overhaul existing systems and start fresh. We took the opposite approach. Our platform sits on top of fragmented data landscapes and makes them intelligible – enriching what’s there rather than replacing it. That’s why we can deliver ROI in months, not years, and why our clients see us as a true partner rather than another vendor,” said Bauer.

Unlike competitors such as Jaggaer or Coupa, which offer more narrowly focused tools or require extensive system changes, Procure AI unifies fragmented procurement data into a single AI-enhanced platform. This approach yields dramatic efficiencies: sourcing processes are reduced by nearly half, and cost savings exceed 5% per event.

“Most procurement AI tools solve isolated problems. Procure AI solves the system. Their end-to-end platform addresses the fragmented data and manual processes that plague procurement operations, delivering measurable ROI across the entire workflow. That’s why enterprises like EnBW and Kärcher have made them their AI platform for procurement,” said Dominic Wilhelm, Partner at Headline.

What’s next?

Looking ahead, Procure AI plans to expand its technical and commercial teams with this new funding and accelerate growth into key European markets beyond its DACH base, including the UK, Nordics, Benelux, and France.

Pascal Cagni, Founder at C4 Ventures and Chairman of the Board for Business France, added, “Their ability to achieve 4X revenue growth whilst maintaining deep technical innovation demonstrates both market validation and execution excellence. We’re backing a team that understands enterprise needs and has the vision to reshape an entire industry.”
