AI search is rapidly becoming the primary way consumers discover products, read reviews, and make purchasing decisions. However, this shift presents a major challenge for brands and marketing teams: most lack visibility into how AI platforms describe their products and the sources influencing those descriptions. Peec AI, a Berlin-based marketing platform, was created to address this challenge by providing such visibility.
Today, Peec AI secured $21 million in Series A funding to help brands better understand and optimise their presence in AI-generated search results across platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini. The funding round was led by the European venture capital firm Singular, with contributions from Antler, Combination VC, identity.vc, and S20.
This investment is among the largest Series A rounds in the AI search sector to date. Previously, Peec AI raised approximately €5.2 million in a seed round in July 2025, led by 20VC alongside the same group of investors, bringing its total funding raised to nearly $29 million.
Helping brands understand how AI sees them
Founded by Daniel Drabo, Tobias Siwonia, and Marius Meiners, Peec AI uses a data engine that tracks how brands are represented across major AI search engines in real time. The platform provides brands with insight into how their identity is presented, which sources influence the AI’s answers, what drives visibility and sentiment, and which actions can improve their positioning.
“We are obsessed with precision. Clean data, clear workflows, and a UI that teams actually love to use. Our job is to help marketers win where AI is shaping the narrative, without adding complexity,” said Marius Meiners, Co-founder & CEO of Peec AI.
Unlike Writesonic, AthenaHQ, Profound, Rankshift, and Semrush, Peec AI differentiates itself through its focus on real-time, prompt-level analytics across multiple AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini. Its AI’s strengths lie in offering robust visibility metrics, competitive benchmarking, and clear workflows that emphasise precision and usability rather than the broader content automation features provided by some competitors.
Since its launch in February 2025, Peec AI has onboarded over 1,300 brands and agencies, acquiring more than 300 new customers each month. Its clientele spans diverse industries and includes n8n, Attio, ElevenLabs, Chanel, TUI, Axel Springer, Peak Ace, and DEPT.
The company has grown swiftly, exceeding $4 million in annual recurring revenue in its first 10 months.
What’s next?
Looking ahead, Peec AI plans to use the new capital to open a New York office, hire over 40 new team members within six months, and expand its platform beyond analytics to develop a comprehensive marketing software stack fit for the AI era.
“AI search is rewriting the rules of discovery, and Peec AI is the team redefining how brands show up in that new landscape. Peec AI combines depth, design, technical excellence and ruthless product velocity in a way that is rare at this stage. They are building real technology with the potential to lead a defining category,” said Henri Tilloy, Partner at Singular.
