Netskope, a leader in modern security and networking, officially went public with an initial public offering (IPO) priced at $19 per share for 47.8 million shares of Class A common stock. Trading began on September 18, 2025, under the ticker symbol “NTSK.”

The offering raised approximately $908 million and valued the company at about $7.3 billion based on the IPO pricing. Following the debut, market activity pushed the valuation closer to $8.8 billion.

The IPO includes a 30-day option allowing underwriters to purchase an additional 7.17 million shares, indicating strong investor appetite. The offering was led by Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan, supported by a consortium of major financial institutions including Deutsche Bank, Wells Fargo, and RBC Capital Markets.

From startup vision to global security powerhouse

Founded in 2012 by Sanjay Beri and Krishna Narayanaswamy, Netskope began with a vision to revolutionise enterprise security for a cloud-first era. At a time when enterprises were starting to adopt a handful of SaaS tools, Netskope built a global platform focused on protecting data, employees, and networks in an increasingly distributed environment.

The company’s strategy of integrating a secure, distributed network with machine learning technologies has proven successful. Today, over 30% of the Fortune 100 rely on Netskope’s solutions, with more than 4,000 customers worldwide.

Boasting about $700 million in annual recurring revenue and a workforce of nearly 3,000 employees, Netskope is recognised as a leader in Gartner’s Security Service Edge (SSE) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Magic Quadrants.

Looking ahead: Scaling security in the AI era

Looking forward, Netskope aims to grow as a public entity in the evolving cybersecurity landscape, characterised by AI-driven workloads and escalating threats. Its flagship Netskope One platform, powered by a Zero Trust Engine and NewEdge network, offers real-time, context-aware security without compromising performance.

With strong financial backing and seasoned leadership, Netskope is positioned to deepen its global footprint and maintain its status as a cornerstone of enterprise security. The IPO represents the culmination of over a decade of innovation and industry leadership.
