Tech talent platform MVP Match sweeps €5M; opens new hub in Egypt

Berlin-based MVP Match, a marketplace and community for matchmaking fast-growing companies with the best tech talent, raises €5 million in seed funding. This follows the investments in Berlin startups heyData and Distribusion.

Opens hub in Egypt

The investment round was led by US-based Stage 2 Capital. In addition, MVP Match has announced the launch of its hub in Egypt. This will be the third hub opened following the company’s operations in Portugal, and Georgia.

This round will support the company’s mission of matching the world’s builders and visionaries through technology and people-first philosophy.

Appoints new board member

To further strengthen its position on the market and take on new challenges, MVP Match has appointed Detria Williamson as its new board member.

MVP Match was founded by Levin Wense and Philipp Petrescu in 2020 in Berlin to connect the world’s best tech talent with the most ambitious companies.
