As healthcare systems struggle with rising obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease rates, Nourish has secured $100 million in Series C funding to scale its nutrition-first care platform. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with backing from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners. This round brings the total funding to $215 million and values the company at $1.75 billion.
Founded in 2021 in New York by Aidan Dewar, Sam Perkins, and Stephanie Liu, Nourish has rapidly become the largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic in the US. The company focuses on reversing chronic disease through a virtual care model that pairs human specialists with intelligent software designed to support behaviour change, care coordination, and long-term patient engagement.
“Chronic disease is the biggest cost burden in U.S. healthcare, yet patients still receive fragmented, reactive care,” says Aidan Dewar. “We’ve built a care model and technology platform focused on lasting lifestyle change, better outcomes, lower costs, and a stronger patient experience. This funding will help us meet growing demand at scale.”
Its platform connects every patient with a Registered Dietitian while integrating lab testing, medication management, GLP-1 prescribing, and virtual medical support. Patients also interact with a digital health agent through Nourish’s mobile app, which tracks progress and coordinates care. On the provider side, AI copilots reduce administrative work and surface patient insights in real time.
Nourish enters a competitive metabolic health market accelerated by the GLP-1 boom. Rivals including Omada Health, Noom, Calibrate, and Found are racing to combine obesity treatment with virtual care. Nourish differentiates through its nutrition-first model and a network of more than 10,000 dietitians.
“Nearly 200 million Americans are affected by chronic disease, yet outcomes remain poor despite trillions spent,” says J.P. Sanday, partner at Menlo Ventures. “In just four years, Nourish has built an impressive model with 10,000 dietitians, strong payer partnerships, and measurable clinical results. Few companies achieve all of that.”
The new funding will expand the clinical network, strengthen insurer and employer partnerships, and deepen the technology platform. Nourish already partners with hundreds of health plans covering more than 200 million Americans and has completed millions of appointments as demand for scalable chronic disease care continues to rise.
