Female-led Rem3dy Health snaps £1.4M from Borski Fund and Future Planet Capital

A Midlands-founded health-tech company, Rem3dy Health, has secured £1.4 million in new investment. The funding round, led by the Amsterdam-based Borski Fund and Future Planet Capital Regional.

Announced at Birmingham Tech Week’s Scale-Up Summit, the deal spotlighted the region’s expanding potential to attract international venture investment. The event, hosted by The Lifted Project, a Rose Review and Treasury-backed initiative, aimed to boost funding for high-growth, women-led businesses.

During a panel discussion, Rem3dy Health’s founder and CEO, Melissa Snover, revealed that Borski Fund contributed £900,000, while Future Planet Capital Regional added £500,000. Borski’s involvement.

The new funding will power Rem3dy Health’s international expansion and further research and development for its flagship brand, Nourished. Using patented 3D printing technology, Nourished delivers personalised, stackable nutrition gummies tailored to individual needs, an innovative step toward preventative healthcare.

Momentum builds despite regional funding gaps

The Midlands has recently seen a surge in activity, with initiatives such as the Inclusive Innovation Catalyst, a £30 million venture studio, and the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund working to bridge the region’s persistent funding gap. Despite these advances, securing growth capital remains a challenge for many founders, especially those outside London’s traditional investment circles.

The dual investment in Rem3dy Health sends a clear message that regional scale-ups can attract global attention when supported by strong ecosystems and collaborative networks. It also highlights the importance of cross-border partnerships that not only inject capital but bring mentorship, networks, and market access opportunities.

Driving global growth with personalised nutrition

This investment enables the company to strengthen its technological edge while scaling global distribution. For the Midlands, it’s more than just a funding announcement but a proof of a maturing innovation hub capable of attracting both international investors and female-led leadership at the forefront of health-tech.

As venture capital flows increasingly toward purpose-driven, inclusive growth, Rem3dy Health’s success may well signal a turning point for the Midlands as a global health-tech powerhouse.

Melissa Snover, who has raised over £20 million to date, commented: “This latest round marks a huge milestone not just for Rem3dy Health, but for the Midlands innovation scene. Both Borski and Future Planet Capital share our belief that world-class innovation doesn’t have to start – or stay – in London. This investment proves that regional founders can raise global capital and scale globally from right here in Birmingham.”

Jen Roberts-Woods, Investment Associate at Borski Fund added: “The Borski Fund is proud to back Rem3dy Health, an innovative UK company with worldwide ambitions. Our collaboration with Future Planet Capital highlights the power of international investor partnerships to drive innovation and support exceptional founders. From our first meeting, Melissa’s vision and drive towards realising Rem3dy Health’s global potential was unmissable. The Borski Fund looks forward to working closely with Rem3dy Health as it continues to scale and shape the future of personalised health innovations”

Rupert Lyle from Future Planet Capital Regional, which manages the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund, added: “Through the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund, we’re proving that the region can be a launchpad for world-class innovation. Rem3dy Health’s growth story is an outstanding example of what happens when regional founders are backed by both local and global capital: the outcomes are both commercially and socially transformative.”
