Almost every small business relies on local delivery, but current delivery options are difficult to manage and prevent growth. Local merchants faced challenges managing external delivery vendors themselves and building their own in-house delivery fleets. A UK-based company, Evermile offers small businesses a single delivery platform that powers all their delivery needs in a simple, flexible, customisable, and cost-effective way.

Now, this London-based tech startup has netted $6 million in seed funding. The investment round was led by 10D, an Israeli VC firm that backed Zorro alongside participation from Mensch Capital Partners. This round also saw the involvement of various angel investors, including Fred Destin (Ex-Board Member at Deliveroo), Ziv Paz (Co-Founder of Melio), and others.

Evermile will use the investment that was raised to expand to new markets globally.

Omer Goldschmidt, CEO and Co-Founder of Evermile said, “We’re proud to leverage mobility-grade optimization, aggregation techniques and AI to unite local merchants to deliver together. Through Evermile, we’re dramatically changing the unit economics of local delivery and slashing delivery costs for these businesses and the millions of customers who want to continue buying locally.”

Ziv Paz, Angel Investor and Co-founder of Melio, a fintech platform for small businesses said, “I was excited to join the Evermile journey as they are not just another last-mile solution, they are incorporating advanced mobility tech in a novel way which prioritizes business collaboration and equips independent retailers with the edge they need to thrive in a highly-competitive marketplace.”

Itay Rand, Partner at 10D added, “With its impressive, automated platform, and advanced optimisation capabilities, Evermile has created a scalable solution for affordable deliveries. For small businesses and the millions of customers relying on their services, Evermile is undoubtedly a game-changer.”

Simplifies local delivery for small businesses

Omer Goldschmidt, Omry Hochberg, and Ynon Cohen founded the company in 2022. The platform was developed by former executives from Via and Optibus, enabling owner/operator-led SMBs to access enterprise-grade logistics. By leveraging mobility-driven algorithms and AI aggregation models, the company has developed a unique and sophisticated optimisation engine that reduces delivery costs by 30-50%, radically changing the economics of local delivery for small businesses.

With more than 300 local merchants already onboard, the UK-based platform offers services to pharmacies, flower shops, wine shops, bakeries, and more.
