Motorsport enthusiasts face barriers to improving their skills, with 190 million monthly racing game players and 90 million track-day hobbyists lacking accessible pro-level coaching amid a 1 billion-strong global fanbase.
Track Titan solves this by offering an AI-powered “Strava for motorsport” platform that analyses in-game data from titles like EA’s F1 series and iRacing, providing real-time feedback on braking, cornering, and racing lines to shave lap times, with users averaging over 0.5 seconds improvement after one session.
In December 2025, the London startup raised $5 million in seed funding co-led by Partech and Game Changers Ventures (Alpine F1 co-owner Roger Ehrenberg’s fund), with participation from NHL star Colton Parayko, footballer Trevoh Chalobah, Sequel, On CEO Martin Hoffmann, Third Bridge founder Emmanuel Tahar, and increased investment from APX.
Strava for motorsport
Founder Max Teichert transitioned from sim racing to professional driving via the Gran Turismo Academy, experiencing elite coaching that inspired Track Titan’s 2021 launch to democratise such insights for all skill levels.
His mission centres on empowering “ambitious amateurs” with data-driven feedback and community-building, bridging virtual and real-world racing skills, like those needed to drive a Porsche at Silverstone. The vision is to create a central digital hub akin to Strava for runners, fostering belonging for millions while scaling AI coaching into hardware and pro training.
Track Titan’s AI automatically records telemetry, compares user laps to pros, and delivers personalised tips on time loss areas, plus esports pro setups, integrated with MOZA and Fanatec hardware. Other features include post-session depth in segment analysis, mobile-friendly UI, and average 0.5-second gains, extending to pro teams’ off-track use.
Unlike competitors like Trophi.ai (real-time technique-focused but less detailed telemetry), EA Racenet (basic laps, no AI tips), or VRS/Motec (manual telemetry without AI coaching), Track Titan excels at AI insights and pro comparisons without live overlays.
Teichert tells TFN, “What sets us apart is that Track Titan is a driving coach, not just a data collection platform. Other companies have produced telemetry tools which can record users’ data and spew it back to them, but our platform turns this information into actionable insights and gives drivers clear feedback. This means they can improve their performance much more quickly. On average, our users improve their fastest lap time by more than half a second after just one session”
What’s next?
Track Titan aims to expand globally, embedding AI into steering wheels, pedals, and car dashboards as a “gold standard” coach. Plans include supporting more sim titles, such as Le Mans Ultimate, enhancing community features, and leveraging partnerships to enable immersive hardware integration to capture underserved markets.
Teichert concludes, “Our goal will always be to make motorsport more accessible, helping drivers of all levels improve their skills and ultimately get more fun out of racing. “
