Product Fruits, a Prague-based provider of a user-onboarding platform offering a no-code interface and integrations, has raised €1.6 million in seed funding. The investment round was led by Toronto-based VC fund Leverage and Venture to Future Fund joining the early investor Lighthouse Ventures that invested in Boomio and Okredo.

The startup will spend the investment to integrate AI into its technology to automatically identify opportunities for users. The company intends to use the funds for rapid market penetration by developing the sales organisation and processes and laying the foundations for an AI product. Also, Product Fruits aims to triple its annual recurring revenue (ARR) in the next financial year, driven primarily by its ease of use for non-technical marketing users.

“I’m definitely bringing my background in the gaming industry to Product Fruits. That industry takes onboarding or game tutorials very seriously. It’s an integral part of the design, and it’s always about more than learning the controls,” said Karel Papik, founder and COO at Product Fruits. “Likewise with business apps, I think there are better ways to get users onboarded that are intuitive, light, adaptive, and even gamified. The stakes are high, I would say 90% of free-trial users for business apps never convert, and we are making huge improvements here.”

No-code digital adoption platform

Founded by Lada Salom, and Karel Papík, Product Fruits is a Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) that provides a no-code interface for creating onboarding processes via gamification and native integrations with popular CRM, data, and analytics platforms. It enables non-technical users, including product and content managers to create prompts, hints, step-by-step tours, and other interactive content.

The startup claims it helps to create seamless onboarding processes, improve user retention, and drive higher growth and revenue. Product Fruits has signed up nearly 500 customers, including Olympic Broadcasting Services, Sanofi, and, IU International University.
