Prodlane, a German SaaS platform for data-driven product management in the manufacturing industry, has raised €760K in pre-seed funding round. The investment round was led by a Swiss family office with an industrial background, with participation from S2S Ventures AG and several business angels from the industry, product management and HR.
Funds utilisation
Developing products in industrial companies is a highly complex process involving a lot of data and stakeholders and takes several years. Prodlane will use the funding to expand its sales and development team and enter the market.

A diverse team!
Prodlane was founded by Moritz v. Hammerstein, Mathias Jakob and Carolin Maier in 2021 in Leipzig, Germany, and was a part of the last HHL Spinlab Accelerator batch. Prodlane has 15 team members comprising 20%. The team members belong to nationalities such as Germany, Switzerland, Pakistan, Brazil, and Turkey.
Carolin has a Business Background, and she did her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Innovation at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Mathias has more than five years of experience as a developer and has built and led an international team of six developers in his last job. Moritz has practical experience in hardware development and software product management.

The software enables data-driven decision-making and creates connected and fully traceable project documentation.
It enables medium and large companies to achieve lean process execution and intelligent knowledge management. The company provides a collaborative workspace, guides through the development process and connects the content with the underlying data.
