Finnish all-in-one sales automation software, MeetingPackage which specialises in venue and group bookings has just secured $4.6 million Series A funding led by Scale Capital.
North American expansion plans
This funding will empower MeetingPackage to enhance its product suite to accommodate online bedroom bookings for groups and to extend its integrations to multiple Sales and Catering and Property Management Systems.
With the new funding and product enhancements, MeetingPackage expects to serve an even larger customer base, covering direct, indirect, online and offline channel sales for groups and meetings and events.
Furthermore, MeetingPackage plans to use this additional funding will be used to accelerate growth in Europe and to facilitate expansion into the North American market. The expansion into the North American market signifies a key milestone in the growth of MeetingPackage. This move represents not just a geographical expansion, but also a strategic initiative to foster collaborative relationships with local industry players, thereby cultivating a rich ecosystem.

Digitises meeting space booking
Founded by Joonas Ahola and Saku Loukonen in 2014, MeetingPackage allows hotels and event venues to sell, operate and manage their Meetings & Events spaces. It improves the booking process for event venues and meeting planners. Interestingly, the self-service software can be used in a few minutes and is available in twelve different language versions.
The company claims to enable seamless online booking experiences of over 6000 properties from independent hotels to global brands. MeetingPackage software is used by renowned hotel chains, individual hotels, restaurants, co-working spaces, unique event spaces, and event marketplaces.
