Customer service has long been a maze — complex, fragmented, and frustratingly manual. While a handful of companies have mastered this challenge, most businesses rely on outdated tools: semi-automated platforms requiring hours of human effort or AI solutions that overpromise and underdeliver. Meet deepdots (formerly Magic Feedback), the AI-native customer feedback platform on a mission to change that.
The Copenhagen-based startup has just raised a €5.5 million Seed round, led by Dawn Capital, Europe’s leading B2B software investor, with participation from Maki.vc and a group of notable angels, including Geeta Schmidt, former CEO and Co-founder of Humio.
The company will use its fresh capital to enhance its end-to-end platform, which closes the loop from data collection to action, addressing the full voice-of-customer lifecycle. The funds will also support team growth and open a second office in Barcelona, expanding deepdots’ European footprint.
A full-stack feedback engine
deepdots was founded in 2023 by Nima Vali Rajabi and Francisco Arias, former Google engineers who built $100M-revenue products that won multiple Google Impact Awards. The company addresses a pain point they knew intimately: the slow, manual, and often ineffective process of collecting and analysing customer feedback across enterprises. Traditional solutions either demanded excessive manual input or relied on generic AI assistants that couldn’t deliver context-specific, actionable insights.
But ceepdots isn’t just about automation. deepdots co-founder and CEO Nima Vali Rajabi commented: “Customer feedback has always been one of the richest sources of insight, yet unlocking its value at scale has remained painfully manual and fragmented. At deepdots, we are building the AI infrastructure that turns every piece of feedback into a clear and actionable insight, instantly. Whether it is millions of reviews, surveys, or support tickets, we help companies close the customer feedback loop in real time and make smarter decisions faster.”
The company recently rebranded to deepdots to better reflect its mission: helping businesses connect the dots across vast feedback landscapes to unlock deep, data-driven understanding.
What makes deepdots stand out is its fully integrated, end-to-end platform. It handles everything from data collection to analysis and action, enabling companies to close the real-time customer feedback loop. It integrates with enterprise tools like Intercom, Zendesk, and HubSpot, making onboarding simple and workflow integration seamless.
The platform is already used by companies like Matas (Denmark’s largest pharmacy chain with 263 stores and over 4 billion kroner in revenue), NREP (a leading real estate investment firm), and Culligan (a global water treatment leader).
Proprietary AI, built for precision and privacy
In August 2023, the team shifted away from third-party AI providers and built their own in-house, proprietary models. The goal was to increase quality, control, and privacy — three critical areas where off-the-shelf solutions failed.
deepdots co-founder and CTO Francisco Arias says: “In August 2023, we decided to move to our proprietary in-house models to meet growing demands for control, quality, and privacy. Since then, we’ve continuously optimised our models, and today we’re proud to deliver human-level accuracy, without compromising privacy or safety. Every company we work with gets its dedicated model stored on a private server. This allows us to train each model with its unique business context in mind, without any risk of data being shared or cross-trained across clients”
This privacy-first approach allows enterprises to trust the system with sensitive data and enables richer, more accurate insights that reflect their fundamental business challenges and language.
In addition to automating the analysis, deepdots offers a second layer of value through intelligent agents that recommend business process improvements, turning insights into action faster than ever before
How does deepdots prepare businesses for the future?
deepdots’ mission is to become the AI backbone for how enterprises handle customer feedback. The platform is designed to scale with its customers, handling millions of data points across various channels, from NPS surveys and app reviews to support tickets and emails, with enterprise-grade performance.
The company’s spokesperson said exclusively to TFN: “The deepdots platform significantly enhances feedback quality and delivers targeted customer insights. Through our proprietary in-house models, we ensure complete privacy and security. Our AI agents streamline enterprise processes and drive results, helping customers save time and resources. The platform connects smoothly with tools like Intercom, Zendesk, and HubSpot for simple implementation. We regularly enhance our product using customer feedback, ensuring our development stays ahead of AI advancements.”
Unlike traditional tools that separate collection, analysis, and action into different systems, deepdots unifies the workflow under one intelligent system. The platform’s ease of use, enterprise integrations, and scalable architecture make it suitable for organisations with high volumes of customer interactions.
Stefan Kirkedal, Head of Customer Insights, Loyalty and Matas Media at Matas A/S: “deepdots has transformed the way we work with NPS, moving from a traditional setup to an AI-driven approach. With personalised AI surveys and fully automated feedback analysis, we gain deeper customer insights while saving significant time. That means we can focus on what matters, improving the customer experience.”
Norman Fiore, General Partner at Dawn Capital, said: “deepdots is ideally positioned to capture the multi-billion dollar ‘Voice of Customer’ market, and has the potential to become a category leader in AI-driven customer experience management. Nima and Francisco are inspiring, ambitious and have a clear vision – and they have gathered a highly talented team to help take them to the next stage. We are proud to be supporting them as they scale.”
Angel investor Geeta Schmidt adds: “deepdots is rewriting the book on how companies gain competitive advantage, improve NPS scores and win customers by transforming massive amounts of customer feedback into prioritised analysis and recommendations. The unique focus that deepdots has towards building a highly scalable solution with data lineage makes this one of the few AI native products that enterprises can rely on.”
