California-based software startup Doxel which provides the first computer-vision-powered predictive analytics solution for the construction industry, recently announced $40 million in Series B financing — taking the total funding to $56.5 million.
This investment was led by New York-based global private equity and venture capital firm, Insight Partners, including participation from existing investors Andreessen Horowitz and Amplo. The latest funding will allow Doxel to scale its aAI platform and rapidly stimulate hiring across its engineering, sales, marketing and product teams.
Predictability is the key
The company’s AI-Powered Project Controls platform covers multiple real-time data sources on a project – such as 360-degree images, Building Information Models (BIM), and budget and schedule – to provide both predictability and control to building owners and contractors.
