Providing cloud services to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) poses challenges for IT companies due to various factors. In addition to the complexities associated with being a reseller, many IT companies lack the necessary tools and support to effectively manage the entire sales and management process for cloud software.
Spanish startup Jotelulu addresses this issue by offering white-label products that can be easily resold by IT companies as their own. These products encompass a range of services that can be tailored to meet the specific needs of their customers. By leveraging Jotelulu’s offerings, IT companies can enhance support, deliver high-quality cloud solutions to SME clients, and ultimately increase their profit margins.
Raises €4M investment
The Jotelulu platform has just closed €4 million in a Series A round of investment. The round was led by a Spanish VC Adara Ventures, which backed Seedtag and Freeverse, with participation from US-based fund G2A Investment Partners and previous investors Fundación Bankinter and Big Sur Ventures, committed to supporting Jotelulu in this next stage of growth.
With this new round of financing, which takes the total funding raised by Jotelulu is €5 million. The company will use the funds for its globalisation and its launch in the French market. Already, the company is touted to be a leading cloud provider in Spain and Portugal with over 10,000 users and YoY growth rates close to 200%. In addition, it will help Jotelulu continuously add value to its existing customers, ensuring IT partners have access to the latest tools and cloud security.
“Receiving the backing of our new partners, Adara Ventures, is a strong recognition of all our hard work over the past few years and great motivation for the future,” said David Amorín, CEO of Jotelulu. “This new round of financing will allow Jotelulu to strengthen our position in the markets where we’re already leading and accelerate our expansion efforts into the French market, one of our main focuses in the short term.”
“We are delighted to be leading this investment in Jotelulu, a company that truly understands the IT needs of SMEs and is committed to supporting them in the digital age,” said Jorge Barón, Associate at Adara Ventures. “We are confident in their ability to reshape the cloud services landscape for this customer segment, and we look forward to supporting the team during this next stage of international growth.”
Seamless cloud services to SMEs
Jotelulu was founded in 2018 by David Amorín, after his own experience of trying to sell cloud services to SMEs. It allows any IT company to sell cloud services competitively, under its own brand, and without having to rely on the infrastructure of large cloud giants. Its platform is one of the most comprehensive, value-adding solutions on the market today, helping hundreds of IT companies manage cloud services more efficiently and competitively.
The Madrid-based startup makes all services available as white-label products, allowing IT companies to easily resell them as their own and bundle any combination of services to fit their specific customers’ needs. As a result, IT companies are able to provide higher quality support and cloud solutions to their SMEs clients and, ultimately, improve their profit margins on selling these services.
