Tel Aviv-based Blocks.diy, an AI-native platform that helps teams create custom intelligent work tools, has raised $10 million in a seed round led by monday.com, marking its first-ever external startup investment. Qumra Capital and Entrée Capital also joined the round.

With this funding, Blocks.diy will accelerate its mission to provide a complete workspace for building and adopting intelligent work tools and AI agents, enabling every team to improve work processes while maintaining full control over their data and integrations.

Building dream work tools in min

Founded less than a year ago by two former monday.com executives, Michal Lupu (CEO) and Tal Haramati (CTO), the company is pioneering a shift from static, off-the-shelf software to customizable, AI-powered solutions.

Michal Lupu, Co-Founder and CEO of Blocks, told TFN: “Today, organisations are stuck with two options: buy off-the-shelf tools that don’t fit their needs, or spend huge amounts of time and money on custom development. That’s where Blocks comes in.

We provide an AI-native platform for teams of all sizes, enabling them to create apps and AI agents for any workflow simply by describing what they need in plain language. We believe the person who feels the problem should own the solution. By combining an app builder with an AI agent builder, Blocks empowers teams to build tools that truly work for them: automating tasks, connecting seamlessly to existing systems, and unlocking the full potential of AI in everyday work.”

Blocks.diy uniquely combines an AI-powered app builder with smart digital agents that act across systems as productivity multipliers. These agents don’t just store information — they can extract, analyse, act on, and coordinate data automatically across different tools, all while giving professionals control over how they behave.

The platform already integrates with widely used applications, including HubSpot CRM, LinkedIn, Gmail, Notion, Snowflake, and monday.com boards.

“Blocks brings together two worlds: app builders and AI agent builders. That means our competitors come from both sides: traditional no-code/low-code app builders on one hand, and AI agent/workflow platforms on the other. Our focus is specifically on work and productivity – helping teams create smart tools that not only organize work but also get it done,” added Lupu.

Templates, compliance, and adoption

Blocks.diy also offers a marketplace of templates designed by community experts, which can be deployed instantly or customised to fit unique requirements. This approach has already driven adoption across industries, including hospitals, venture capital firms, construction companies, large farms, and operations managers at tech companies.

For collaboration, the company provides pre-built workspaces where teams can work alongside colleagues, clients, partners, and vendors. Advanced compliance is built in as the platform meets SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards.

As Lupu emphasises: “All of this is done in a secure and controlled environment, without the need for an extensive development team. That’s something that was previously out of reach for most organisations.”

Erez Shachar, Managing Partner at Qumra Capital, added: “Michal and Tal identified an exceptional opportunity to revolutionise the world of organisational efficiency. They understood that the real power of AI lies in making it accessible to every employee, regardless of their background. We are excited to support their mission and help organisations unlock the amazing potential of AI.”

Blocks intends to use the funding to double down on product development, expand its customer adoption, and fulfil its longer-term vision. As Lupu puts it: “Our focus is on delivering real value to our users by building the best platform: one that helps organisations of all sizes boost productivity and unlock new ways of working.”
