Juan Nieto

Juan Nieto (Founding Partner): Juan is a leading expert in sustainable building materials, with a particular focus on green cement and concrete. He actively collaborates with the World Economic Forum through its First Movers Coalition, advancing decarbonization efforts in the sector. Juan established and led CEMEX Ventures’ operations in Asia-Pacific, and his investment portfolio includes companies such as Cemvision, Concrete4Change, Gravis Robotics, StructionSite, Aecore, GoFor, and Voyage Control. His expertise spans industrial decarbonization, carbon capture and storage (CCS), smart cities, design and engineering, and supply chain innovation. Prior to his venture capital career, he was an Associate at Altamar Capital Partners, a leading alternative asset manager with over €20 billion in assets under management. Juan holds a Civil Engineering degree from the Technical University of Madrid, including an academic exchange at Tongji University in Shanghai. He also teaches Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship as a part-time professor at ICADE and IE Business School.
