finance&invest.brussels invests in AnyKrowd to revolutionise event management with their innovative all-in-one platform, enhancing operations and crowd experiences across Europe.

finance&invest.brussels has announced a €1 million equity investment in AnyKrowd, a Brussels-based startup offering an all-in-one platform for event and crowd management. This investment, part of a larger €4 million Series A funding round, underscores the firm’s commitment to the creative and cultural industries (CCI), a cornerstone of Belgium’s global reputation for festivals and events.

The funding round attracted prominent investors, including Michael Verschueren, Tony Mary, David Mary, Gio Canini, and Frank Van Raemdonck. These contributions are set to propel AnyKrowd’s innovative platform to new heights, enhancing event operations and crowd experiences across Europe.

Founded in 2022, AnyKrowd provides a data-driven platform integrating ticketing, cashless payments, team management, and analytics. Designed for diverse sectors—festivals, hospitality, nightclubs, and stadiums—the solution simplifies event operations, optimises costs, and ensures seamless crowd management, a critical element in the success of cultural events.

With clients such as Hangar, Reggae Geel, Voodoo Village, Jeux d’Hiver, and RWDM, AnyKrowd has demonstrated its capacity to adapt to events of all scales. Belgium, known for its festival excellence, serves as the ideal testing ground for this scalable solution, which delivers efficiency, flexibility, and a superior visitor experience.

AnyKrowd’s growth accelerated by finance&invest.brussels investment

The funding will allow AnyKrowd to expand its team and enter new European markets, including France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Bulgaria. CEO and co-founder Christophe Stemberger commented: 

 “This funding is a recognition of our innovative approach and allows us to reinforce our mission: transforming event management in Belgium and internationally. With this support, we can accelerate our development and set new standards in the cultural and creative industries.”

finance&invest.brussels highlighted the importance of supporting companies in the CCI sector as part of its broader strategy to position Brussels as a hub for innovation. Antoine Kuypers, Investment Manager, noted: 

 “Our investment in AnyKrowd aligns with our strategy of supporting companies in the cultural and creative sectors. This scale-up, whose solution is already used by flagship events, also contributes to strengthening Brussels’ attractiveness, positioning Belgium at the heart of event innovation on a European scale.” 

He further emphasised their focus on long-term partnerships: 

 “Our goal is to invest in companies with solid, long-term growth potential and to build partnerships where we can share our expertise and help optimise their trajectory.”
