Coding Giants, a Polish digital education platform teaching coding skills to children and teens, has closed an €8.5 million investment. The round was led by True Global Ventures (TGV) with follow-on participation from existing investor PortfoLion Capital Partners, which recently backed tiney and NORBr. This round follows the €3.5 million funding it raised last year.
Funds utilisation
The funding will support Coding Giants’ ambitious global expansion plans, including Spanish-speaking communities in the US, and further development of its AI-driven educational solutions. After dominating the Polish market, Coding Giants expanded internationally, with Spain and Italy as its key markets.
In addition to international expansion, the company will enhance its AI-powered Learning Management System (LMS) by developing an AI tutor that monitors live sessions, provides real-time guidance to trainers, and improves student outcomes.
How was the idea born?
Coding Giants was founded in 2017 by friends who graduated from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology at Warsaw University of Technology – Radosław Kulesza, Dawid Leśniakiewicz, and Sebastian Langa. The founders wanted to share their knowledge and experience in programming with others, and to show students the potential of coding as a career path.
Coding Giants teaches computer programming and new technologies to children and young people aged between 7 and 19. The school’s curriculum is developed by experienced programmers who tailor the content and methodology to each age group.
The company operates in 12 countries and has become a trusted name in coding education through its unique approach to teaching digital skills. It has rapidly grown to become a leader in digital education, reaching over 15,000 active students and conducting lessons for nearly 200,000 participants since its debut.
What’s next for Coding Giants?
With this investment, Coding Giants is set to accelerate global expansion and further development of its offerings. It plans to launch an AI tutor for real-time student support and guidance as well. Building on proven success in Poland, Spain, and Italy, the company is all set to scale globally, shaping the next generation of learners.
“Just as we learn about our physical environment in science classes, we must fully understand our digital surroundings,” said Radosław Kulesza, Co-Founder and CEO of Coding Giants. “Our goal isn’t just to create future programmers but to help everyone adapt to technology effortlessly and safely.”
The company’s hybrid model combines small-group live sessions with digital materials, providing a flexible, high-quality learning experience tailored to different age groups. “We’ve always aimed to go global,” said Dawid Leśniakiewicz, Chief Revenue Officer at Coding Giants. “Our approach is to work with the best local coding professionals to deliver effective, hands-on courses. Spain and Italy were significant milestones – these were the first international markets where we managed to prove our business model, and now we are ready to scale globally.”
“Coding Giants’ strong market position and unique approach to enriching human-to-human interactions with top-notch technology, including AI, make them a unique player in the digital education space,” said Konrad Wawruch, Founding Partner at TGV, now joining the Supervisory Board of Coding Giants. “We’re excited to support their mission to prepare the next generation for the future, with their 5x year-to-year growth on international markets, 80% overall growth and amazing capital efficiency.”
“Coding Giants has demonstrated extraordinary growth and scalability,” added Zsolt Mihály, Principal at PortfoLion. “Their results in Poland, Spain, and Italy validate the potential for international success.”
