Planted Foods, the Swiss startup that creates plant-based meat has recently raised an additional $21 million to its $18 million Series A (completed in March 2021).
The latest investment will be used for international expansion, scaling up the company and launch new products.
The funding came from Gullspång Re:food, Vorwerk Ventures, Movendo Capital, Joyance,ACE & Company (SFG strategy), Good Seed Ventures, and Be8 Ventures.
Founded in July 2019 by co-Founders Pascal Bieri, Lukas Böni, Christoph Jenny and Eric Stirnemann, the ETH Zurich products are available in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and France at Coop, Spar, Edeka, and Migros.
