Many software products never reach their full potential. Teams ship powerful tools, but users struggle to get value from them. As a result, features go unused, adoption stalls, and companies end up hiring more sales and support staff to compensate.
This gap between building a product and turning it into a growth engine has become a costly problem across the SaaS industry. Helsinki-based startup Skene is working to close that gap with autonomous AI agents that guide users directly inside products.
The company has raised €800,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Superhero Capital, with participation from NVIDIA executives. The new funding will be used to scale Skene’s platform, expand its AI agents across the full growth loop, and push toward €1 million in annual recurring revenue by mid-2026.
Skene’s first Agent is already live, with full product growth loop coverage planned for early 2026.
Turning software products into growth engines
Skene was founded by Teemu Kinos, co-founder of GetJenny, alongside Teppo Hudsson and Michele Boggia, PhD, who leads NLP-driven product development.
The company’s approach is different from traditional product analytics or customer success tools. Its AI agents read a product’s actual source code to understand how it works and how it is meant to be used.
Based on that understanding, the agents guide users toward meaningful outcomes, helping them adopt features faster and get more value without relying on human support teams.
“Most legacy products rely on human-shaped sticking plasters in the form of sales, CS, and manual workflows to execute growth strategy, yet when it comes to AI agents capable of fixing these problems at scale, they hesitate,” says Kinos.
“The opportunity for exponential product-led growth (PLG) is in the hands of AI-native teams looking for ways to ship at a speed and scale that manual growth strategies can’t match. Skene automates the path to growth at every step, constantly improving user outcomes with every release,” adds Kinos.
By helping users quickly get more value from products, Skene drives higher adoption, creates more opportunities to expand functionality, and boosts retention across the entire user growth journey.
“Skene’s approach of analysing actual code rather than just product data is a fundamental breakthrough. Combined with the team being repeat founders and a bold execution timeline, we knew we had to back this team,” says Juha Ruohonen, General Partner at Superhero Capital.
