Sequoia leads $10.4M investment in ex-Facebook team startup helping devs test products quickly

Seattle, WA-based software testing startup, Statsig has recently raised $10.4m in Series A funding from Sequoia Capital. 

Further, Madrona Venture Group and several individual investors including Calvin French-Owen (Co-founder of Segment), Dylan Field (CEO & Cofounder at Figma), Aparna Chennapragada (CPO at Robinhood), Gokul Rajaram (Product Leader at DoorDash), Hadi Partovi (CEO and Founder at Code.org), Gokul Rajaram (Product Leader at DoorDash), Jay Parikh (ex-VP at Facebook and co-CEO at Lacework), Hadi Partovi (CEO and Founder at Code.org), Fidji Simo (ex-Facebook and CEO at Instacart), and Sriram Krishnan (ex-Twitter and General Partner at a16z) also participated in the round.

Founded in january 2021, by founder and CEO Vijaye Raji and seven other former Facebook colleagues, th company plans to use the funds to continue expanding its operations and accelerate reach. 

Statsig has developed a platform that allows product developers to run rapid, high-quality product experiments and examine how their users react to new features and functionality the same way product teams at Facebook, Amazon, Airbnb and Uber work. Its research analytics and decision-making tools such as Pulse, Experiments+, and AutoTune enable product teams to manage hundreds of experiments weekly and assess how their products perform daily.
