AI search is changing how people discover products. Studies show that half of consumers now use AI tools for purchase decisions, and many rely on them more than Google. Yet only a small share of brands track their visibility inside these systems. This gap means companies might rank well on Google but barely appear in AI-generated answers.
Ranketta aims to fix this by showing brands exactly how often and how well their products appear in AI recommendations. Today, this AI startup has raised €1 million in pre-seed funding, led by Lighthouse Ventures, with Gi21 Capital also joining.
In its first two months, Ranketta claims to have reached $100K in ARR and attracted fast-growing clients, including Brainmarket, Boost.space, Purple Technology, and Sloneek.
Improving brand visibility with AI
Founded in 2025 by 21-year-old AI researcher and product builder Vojtěch Oravec, Ranketta is a platform that measures and improves brand visibility in AI-generated answers.
Oravec told TFN, “I started using ChatGPT for researching and shopping. When Google launched AI Overviews in the Czech Republic, it became very clear to me that this is where search is going. But at the same time, I realised that brands have zero visibility into how often they appear in these models or why. My initial idea was a tool that could automatically boost a brand’s visibility inside LLMs.
But the deeper I went, the more I saw that the real problem was measurement, especially at the product level. Brands didn’t just need to know whether they showed up, they needed to know which specific products AI was recommending, and how to influence those rankings. Over the next few months, that idea evolved into Ranketta: a platform that measures and improves AI visibility for both brands and individual products. And I built the first version completely on my own.”
Ranketta gives e-commerce and D2C companies a way to see how their products and brands show up inside tools like ChatGPT Shopping, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, offering real data and actionable suggestions to improve rankings.
Oravec elaborated, “We’re the only software in Europe that can measure how often an ecommerce brand appears in AI, together with how often and how well its individual products show up in AI-generated answers. We show which products get recommended, in what context, why they appear, and how brands can improve their placement. For e-commerce companies, where the visibility of a single SKU can affect revenue, this is extremely valuable.”
He added, “We also offer more accuracy than other tools, giving companies a clearer and more reliable view of their presence in AI search, along with practical steps to help them appear more often and more favourably. We also develop our own extension that can improve product data so the product gets recommended more often and for the ideal queries.”
Unlike Scrunch and Peec AI, Ranketta offers high precision in product-level visibility, sentiment analysis, source tracking, and its AI Copilot, providing tailored growth recommendations. In fact, its AI Copilot analyses each brand’s data and offers tailored recommendations on content creation and citation strategies to maximise impact.
The company has only been operating for two months, but is already working with 20 European brands and is preparing to enter the U.S. market.
What’s next?
The funding will accelerate the company’s European expansion, support its upcoming U.S. launch, and expand its engineering and sales teams. Ranketta is also developing integrations with Shopify and other e-commerce platforms
Oravec concluded, “Our focus is on scaling across Europe and preparing for the U.S. market, where AI Shopping is evolving especially fast. We’re also strengthening our integrations, starting with Shopify, so Ranketta becomes a natural part of the e-commerce stack.
Our broader mission is to prepare companies for the future of online discovery and to become the leading platform for AI-era visibility in D2C and ecommerce. Long term, we want to ensure every brand and product can be found in AI search, and to establish Ranketta as the category leader in Generative Engine Optimisation for ecommerce brands.”
Michal Zálešák, Managing Partner at Lighthouse Ventures, says, “Many companies are trying to address AI search, but Ranketta’s precision and product-level visibility set it apart. The company’s early growth, together with Vojtěch’s technical vision, is both awe-inspiring. With AI search set to influence hundreds of billions in consumer spending over the next few years, we see Ranketta emerging as a key player in this rapidly growing market.”
Damir Špoljarič, Founder & GP at Gi21 Capital, adds, “Traditional SEO won’t define the next decade, AI visibility will. Ranketta is among the first platforms to clearly decode how AI models evaluate brands and products, giving companies the insight they need to grow in an AI-first marketplace.”
