Project Prometheus has closed a $10 billion funding round at a $38 billion valuation, with participation from major financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase and BlackRock.
The fresh funding makes it one of the most highly valued early-stage companies in the world, Bloomberg reports.
Bezos and Vikram Bajaj co-founded Project Prometheus in November 2025, and both serve as co-CEOs. We reported earlier this week that this round brings total funding to more than $16 billion, including the $6.2 billion raised at launch.
The San Francisco-based company is building AI systems that understand the laws of physics and can be applied across engineering, manufacturing, and other physical industries. It is training models on real-world experimental data, robotic interactions, and engineering workflows, targeting areas such as aerospace, automotive, advanced manufacturing, and drug discovery.
Bezos is building something that looks less like an AI startup and more like a vertically integrated industrial-intelligence company, and, for now, Wall Street is financing the vision.
