Finance and strategy teams still spend a lot of time on repetitive work, such as updating spreadsheets, editing PowerPoints, managing data, and creating reports. Even with all the attention on AI, these tasks remain a big part of their day.

pleasefix.ai takes care of these manual tasks. Users just explain what they need in simple language, and the AI does the work right in Excel or PowerPoint. There’s no need for extra software or new training.

Fresh off their 2025 launch, pleasefix.ai just closed a $2.1M pre-seed round led by Pitchdrive, with Syndicate One, EF, Transpose, 100IN, and a roster of finance insiders joining in.

The new funding will help develop the product, grow the team, and attract users in Europe and the US.

Become the top tool for finance and strategy teams everywhere.

Séverine Nolf and Maxime Lahy, both from Belgium, met while working at McKinsey. They joined the Start it @KBC and Entrepreneurs First accelerators in Paris, then moved to San Francisco in July to connect with the tech sector and build relationships in the finance industry. The engineering team is growing in Brussels at the new WAT location, and the company may open sales operations in New York.

Their mission is to eliminate manual tasks so teams can focus on strategic decision-making. They want to become the top execution platform for finance and strategy professionals, starting with the tools teams already use. pleasefix.ai was created to ease the daily workload for these teams and let AI handle routine work smoothly.

Users type instructions in plain English, and the AI completes tasks in open Excel or PowerPoint files up to ten times faster, with high accuracy and full audit tracking. The tool is easy to use and fits right into existing workflows.

What sets pleasefix.ai apart? It works inside your existing tools, delivers results without extra steps, and is built for the accuracy finance teams need. No more copy-pasting like with chatbots, no complex setups like Runway.

What’s next?

The company wants to become the main execution hub for finance and strategy teams worldwide. They plan to expand integrations, grow the Brussels development team, and set up in New York City.

With this new funding, expect advanced features and a growing user base, making AI the go-to for clearing out routine work.
