Alibaba-backed AI video startup PixVerse has raised $300 million in new funding, according to Bloomberg, pushing the company to a valuation of more than $1 billion as competition in AI-generated video heats up.

Several investors joined the round, including Antler, EnvisionX Capital, iGlobe Partners, Lion X Ventures, UOB Venture Management, and 3W Fund, along with other backers, the report says.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate global expansion and help PixVerse pursue more enterprise customers across North America and Asia. The report cited people familiar with the matter who said the details were not public.

“This round marks a new chapter for PixVerse,” Co-founder Jaden Xie said. “Our goal now is to grow globally and make AI video creation accessible to creators and companies everywhere.”

The new round builds on PixVerse’s earlier $60 million Series B, which was led by Alibaba in September 2025.

PixVerse is an AI-powered platform that allows users to create videos. The company’s main model, V5.6, uses a proprietary Diffusion Transformer architecture and can generate 1080p video in under a minute. PixVerse says the system supports audio-visual synchronisation, multi-character scenes, and longer narrative sequences.

The service has attracted more than 100 million users across 175 countries. Around 16 million people actively use the platform each month, and users have created more than 2.1 billion videos so far.

Reduced production cost by 68%

PixVerse claims that enterprise teams using its platform have seen production costs fall by about 68% while speeding up video creation by roughly 57% compared with traditional workflows. However, the company did not disclose specific clients or independently verified benchmarks.

In January 2026, the company introduced a real-time AI video-generation tool, adding to the competition in a market where startups are racing to improve speed, quality, and control in video creation.

To support its international push, PixVerse has opened a global office in Singapore. The new base will focus on enterprise sales, partnerships, and global market expansion, particularly in North America and Asia.

Co-founder and CEO Changhu Wang said the Singapore presence will help the company connect with partners, customers, and talent from around the world. Wang is also part of the Singapore Economic Development Board’s Global Founder Programme, which supports experienced entrepreneurs building companies from Singapore.
