Pharmaceutical companies are increasingly under pressure to digitise clinical trials, improve patient engagement, comply with strict regulatory standards, and manage rising development costs.
Many still rely on fragmented digital tools that do not fully integrate across the clinical-to-commercial value chain.
Dawn Health has raised €21.5 million in a growth investment round to address that gap and expand its AI-enabled patient companion platform. The new funding includes investment from Cipio Partners, which joins existing owners Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker (CAF), Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), and Trifork.
Funding to expand AI-enabled pharma partnerships
Dawn Health will use the new funding to expand its role as an AI patient companion for pharmaceutical companies in clinical, medical, and commercial areas. The company has created a platform for global pharma that supports disease management, therapy, and clinical research.
This funding will accelerate product development and strengthen partnerships with pharma, technology, and AI companies.
“We are very excited to welcome Cipio Partners as an investor,” said Alexander Mandix Hansen, CEO of Dawn Health. “We see a strong alignment between Cipio’s capabilities and ambitions and the strategy of our company, as well as the vision of our existing owners.”
Focus on regulated digital health
Led by Alexander Mandix Hansen, Dawn Health specialises in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), Digital Therapeutics (DTx), and connected health solutions.
Its technology is deployed across multiple therapeutic areas and is designed to meet regulatory standards required for healthcare and pharmaceutical applications.
“Dawn Health stands out as a company with a very strong product foundation, deep regulatory expertise, and trusted, long-standing relationships with global pharma leaders,” said Dr. Ansgar Kirchheim, Partner at Cipio Partners. “We see a clear opportunity to support Dawn Health in further scaling its SaaS offer and expanding even more into the clinical trial space, where digital and data-driven solutions are becoming increasingly critical. We are excited to partner with Dawn Health’s great team on the next phase of growth.”
