Women founders get less than 2% of VC funding. Even worse, progress towards equality is proving painfully slow. So, how can women founders level the playing field until the tech world catches up?

The Tech Power Breakfast, a game-changing free event designed to help women founders scale their businesses, command the room, and land investment deals if they’re looking to. It will also help them unlock funding, confidence and connections – all in one morning.

Organised by La French Tech London, it is taking place on April 2nd, 2025, from 08:30 to 12:30 at HEC House, London. There are limited spots, so if you want one, you need to apply quickly.

Why attend the Tech Power Breakfast?

La French Tech London is a dynamic community of more than 5,000 entrepreneurs, investors, and tech enthusiasts. With support from the French government – and part of a global network of over 100 communities – they help tech founders scale their businesses across three key verticals: deeptech, fintech, and tech for good. Their volunteer-driven community provides networking opportunities, investor introductions, and founder support, with a strong commitment to fostering diversity and empowering women in tech.

As Mathilde Bacholle, Board Member at La French Tech London, says, “it’s not just another lukewarm coffee and smalltalk, the idea is to take real action. Our goal is to help women founders ‘play the game and win’ by delivering their business story with impact and navigating high-pressure situations with confidence and clarity.”

This power-packed event is designed to give women founders the confidence, skills, and investor access they need to succeed.

  • Go from founder to funded: whether you’re bootstrapping or raising your first VC round, this event equips you with the skills, strategy, and confidence to play the game and win.

Emilie Bellet, founder of Vestpod, also a board member of La French Tech describes it best: “This isn’t just another panel talk – it’s a hands-on experience where founders roll up their sleeves, refine their strategy, strengthen their funding plan, and connect with the right investors.”
