Berlin’s ChatGPT for marketing: Conversational AI trailblazer Spectrm raises $6.5M funding

Spectrm, a Berlin-based AI-driven conversational marketing platform, has snapped $6.5 million in funding. The round was led by 3TS Capital Partners, which backed Autenti, a Polish platform, with participation from existing investors including LHV Global, BDMI, North Base Media, and Jens Schumann.

The investment will fuel Spectrm’s mission to make one-to-one customer conversations at scale available to marketing teams at global brands. The capital will support the company’s expansion of its leadership position in brand-ready AI tools and integration with CRM systems to increase conversion and capture zero-party data which serve as the basis of building the future of consumer lifecycle, segmentation and retention marketing.

Besides the funding round, Spectrm welcomed new board members – Dave Helmreich, Chief Commercial Officer at Innovid (NYS: CTV) and Andy Hunn, a three-time exited founder, who will provide valuable guidance and support as the company continues its growth trajectory.

What challenge does it tackle?

As per reports, social media users spend an average of 2 hours and 24 minutes per day across eight social networks and messaging apps. Сonversational marketing remains one of the best and most effective options. However, it remains underestimated as only 1 out of every 100 businesses engages customers automatically or with chatbots, an approach with massive reach and greater interactivity. 

Resolving this, Jendrik Höft, Manfred Stellenberg and Max Koziolek founded Spectrm in 2016 in Berlin to automate personalised one-to-one conversations to engage and convert customers.
