AuxoAI snaps $20.7M led by NTTVC to scale enterprise AI deployment

  • AuxoAI has raised a $20.7M Series A led by NTTVC, an Anthropic investor.
  • It places AI strategists and engineers inside large companies to build production AI.
  • Scaling a people-heavy model without losing margin is the test.

Anyone can now rent a frontier AI model. Getting one to run inside a restaurant group’s pricing process, or a healthcare software firm’s marketing team, is what stalls. AuxoAI is raising money to sell that part.

The San Francisco Bay Area startup said on October 20 that it has closed a $20.7 million Series A led by NTTVC, the Silicon Valley venture firm formed in partnership with Japanese telecoms group NTT.

Three strategic investors joined the round: George Still Jr., partner emeritus at Norwest Venture Partners and a longtime Workday board member; Amit Zavery, president, chief product officer and chief operating officer at ServiceNow; and Giacomo Sonnino, a managing director at Charlesbank Capital Partners and former chief operating officer of QuantumBlack North America.

AuxoAI will use the money to hire more forward-deployed staff worldwide, build its own technology, and expand its partner network.

The timing fits a wider shift. Forward-deployed engineers, a role long tied to Palantir, are in demand across the industry. One report put the rise in job postings at more than 1,000% between January and August 2026, compared with the same months of 2025. Google Cloud’s $750 million partner fund, announced at its Next conference on April 22, supports teams of embedded Google forward-deployed engineers among other things.

AuxoAI is one of the AI-native partners in the Gemini Enterprise transformation program that the fund backs, it said in April.

Strategists, engineers and a workbench called Damia

Founded in 2023 by Amaresh Tripathy, Arvinder Pal Singh and Kabir Singh, AuxoAI is built around the idea that general-purpose AI models alone cannot transform complex organisations. Businesses need teams that understand their operations, identify automation opportunities, and develop systems that work in real production environments.

“We founded AuxoAI on a simple thesis: AI will fundamentally change how enterprises work, but technology alone will not make that happen. Our mission is to bring AI into the operating fabric of the enterprise by deeply understanding its context, a context that general-purpose AI does not inherently understand, and reimagining how work gets done,” said Amaresh Tripathy, Arvinder Pal Singh and Kabir Singh, co-founders of AuxoAI.

AuxoAI says its FDE team has worked with more than 40 clients across manufacturing, consumer goods, healthcare, telecom, and other industries. Its workbench, Damia, packages what AuxoAI learned from several earlier deployments to speed up new ones.

One use is synthetic consumer personas: AI-generated stand-ins for customer groups that a company can test ideas on before paying for real research.

Why investors are paying for deployment

NTTVC’s pitch is that the scarce resource in enterprise AI is trust.

“Over the past year, we’ve gotten to know AuxoAI’s co-founders, and what stands out is their rare combination of technical ambition and human instinct. The authenticity and thoughtfulness they bring to customer conversations earn trust. Paired with deep enterprise understanding and the ability to deploy AI, that trust is the foundation for a lasting partnership on a customer’s most consequential work,” said Vab Goel, founding partner of NTTVC.

Goel founded NTTVC in 2019 after 19 years as a partner at Norwest Venture Partners, and the firm announced a $500 million debut fund in October 2020. It lists Anthropic, Neysa, nference, Celona, Eko Health, and Shoreline, which NVIDIA acquired, among its investments. Seedtable data shows NTTVC took part in Anthropic’s $65 billion Series H, announced on May 28, 2026 at a $965 billion valuation including the new money.

Will forward-deployed AI become a scalable business?

AuxoAI also faces better-funded rivals. Distyl AI, which sells AI deployment to Fortune 500 companies, raised $175 million at a $1.8 billion valuation in September 2025 in a round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Khosla Ventures. London- and Paris-based Arrakis, which sends forward-deployed AI engineers into industrial groups, raised a $30 million Series A in July 2026 led by Blossom Capital.

While those two have raised more, AuxoAI leans on a customer list that already spans several industries, its Damia workbench, and partner status with Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services, where it holds an advanced tier.

If NTTVC is right, the next wave of enterprise AI companies will look less like software vendors and more like the consultancies their founders came from, with better tooling. Whether investors will value them like the former or the latter is still open.
