In a rare convergence of media and PR expertise, Tech Funding News is hosting its third annual panel discussion, “Pitch Perfect! Mastering Media & PR,” in London this March. The event will feature Akansha Dimri, TFN founder; Polina Lorelli of PL Communications; and Dina Mostovaya of Mindset Consulting, who will share actionable insights on navigating the complex world of public relations. Register now as spots are limited.

The event takes a fresh approach by focusing on what happens after a media pitch is picked up. “Everyone talks about how to pitch journalists, but what happens after? That’s where the real magic — or sometimes drama — happens,” says Dimri, known for her candid perspectives on media coverage in the UK and European tech ecosystems. This shift in focus highlights the often-overlooked aspects of PR, such as maintaining relationships with journalists and leveraging media coverage for business growth.

Dina Mostovaya, whose clients span various tech sectors, emphasises the importance of patience and strategy in PR. “Entrepreneurs need to understand that respecting editorial policies, strategic timing, and attention to detail are crucial for PR success,” she explains.

Polina Lorelli will also share her expertise in crafting compelling narratives that resonate with journalists and audiences. She says: “I’m excited to dive into how PR can be used as a tool to drive product growth and commercial success in today’s competitive market. While every founder dreams of being featured in TechCrunch and the Financial Times, PR isn’t just about headlines — it’s about building credibility, shaping demand, and driving real business results.”

Translating media mentions into meaningful business outcomes

The panel will address a critical knowledge gap for tech founders and investors: translating media mentions into meaningful business outcomes. Topics include strategic planning of media coverage campaigns, building lasting relationships with journalists, maximising ROI from press mentions, and converting media attention into growth opportunities.

The event will take place on March 25th at The Other House in South Kensington and is designed for tech founders, VCs, and communications professionals. Attendance is limited to 50 approved participants, ensuring an intimate and highly curated experience.

The agenda includes a 45-minute panel discussion followed by nearly two hours of networking with prominent figures in the London tech scene. Attendees can enjoy drinks and food while forging valuable connections.Given the high demand following TFN’s successful 2023 and 2024 events, spots are filling quickly. Interested?
