From one late part to a billion-dollar delay, Pelico is fixing the problem no one wants to talk about. The Paris- and Miami-based startup just secured a $40 million strategic round led by General Catalyst, with participation from 83North and Serena, to bring AI-powered orchestration to the heart of global manufacturing.

With this raise, Pelico has now secured $72M total and plans to double down on North American expansion, ramp up hiring, and roll out its next frontier: Agentic AI for self-optimising supply chains.

From firefighting to future-proofing: The rise of AI in manufacturing ops

Pelico confirms that its platform isn’t just another software layer, it’s a real-time AI co-pilot for manufacturers navigating chaotic, fragmented supply chains.

Used by industry giants like Airbus, Eaton, and Safran, the system analyses live operational data to instantly spot shortages, sync teams, and prevent slowdowns. Deployed in just 12 weeks, companies report:

  • 40% drop in parts shortages
  • 15% boost in on-time deliveries
  • 40% faster MRO cycle times

“One missing part can freeze a billion-dollar production line,” says co-founder & CEO Tarik Benabdallah. “Pelico gives supply chain teams superpowers, connecting people, data, and decisions in real time.”

300% growth signals global demand

Founded in France in 2019 by Tarik Benabdallah, Mamoun Alaoui, and Jonathan Hickson, Pelico has grown rapidly, a 300% YoY revenue growth, offices in Miami and Frankfurt, and users across 15+ countries.

With this new funding, Pelico is scaling fast in North America, where it has tripled revenue in six months and secured partnerships with 50% of the world’s top 10 aerospace and defense companies.

“Pelico is defining the next era of industrial AI,” said Larry Bohn, Managing Director at General Catalyst, who’s joining the board. “They turn complexity into clarity—and help manufacturers stay agile in a volatile world.”

Smarter supply chains with Agentic AI

The big play now? Agentic AI, a bold step toward self-correcting, self-optimising supply chains that anticipate disruptions and act without constant human intervention.

With new investment focused on hiring in data science and engineering, Pelico is building systems that do more than flag problems, they’ll fix them before they hit the floor.

“This isn’t just about dashboards,” said Florent Pelissier from Microsoft.
“Pelico’s GenAI platform on Azure delivers real-time impact, from the shop floor to the boardroom.”
