HubBox lands £6M to transform pickup-point delivery for retailers worldwide

HubBox, the parcel pickup software helping retailers streamline out-of-home (OOH) deliveries, has secured £6 million in fresh funding led by Puma Growth Partners. The company plans to use the capital to accelerate its expansion across the UK, Europe, Japan and the US.

Solving delivery frustrations with smarter pickup options

Founded in 2015 by Sam Jarvis, Claire Jarvis, Greg Beszant and Jon Pawley, HubBox emerged from a simple insight: home delivery failures were costing time, money and customer goodwill. As shoppers increasingly demand flexible delivery choices, the company’s software offers a straightforward alternative. It allows customers to select nearby pickup points during checkout.

This model gives shoppers control, helps retailers maintain delivery reliability and enables couriers to consolidate parcel loads, ultimately reducing costs. With seamless integration into more than 1,000 retail systems, HubBox supports thousands of retailers across key markets and connects with major courier OOH networks.

A business built on strong partnerships

HubBox’s growth has been driven by its close collaboration with leading couriers including UPS, DPD, DHL, Royal Mail, PostNord and Asendia. A standout feature is its Funded License Program, which allows couriers to cover the cost of HubBox’s software for retailers during an initial term. This approach has significantly boosted adoption and positioned HubBox as the preferred OOH solution across the sector.

Its technology-first distribution model benefits all parties involved: retailers gain access to efficient delivery infrastructure, couriers benefit from higher parcel consolidation and customers enjoy convenient pickup options that fit into their daily routines.

Riding the wave of OOH delivery growth

The OOH delivery market is expanding rapidly, expected to jump from $29 billion today to $54 billion by 2030. Europe alone has seen pickup points surge from about 190,000 in 2019 to more than 500,000 today as regulatory pressures, sustainability targets and consumer behaviour push the industry toward greener, more efficient delivery methods.

With its strong product integration, established courier partnerships and growing retailer base, HubBox is well placed to capture a larger share of this growing market. Puma’s investment will fuel the next phase of scaling, helping HubBox deepen its presence in existing regions and enter new markets while onboarding more global retailers.

As e-commerce matures and logistics challenges intensify, HubBox stands out as a company shaping the future of convenient, sustainable parcel delivery.

Sam Jarvis, CEO of HubBox, commented: “Offering pickup at checkout is key to accelerating the shift to out-of-home delivery, and HubBox has been leading the charge for nearly a decade as the market leader in this space. Now, as demand for HubBox from couriers, retailers and shoppers continues to surge, we’re expanding our investment in people and software to meet it. We’re truly thrilled to partner with Puma to take this exciting next step. With OOH on track to overtake home delivery, the opportunity is huge – and we’re just getting started.”

Charlotte Howe, Investment Manager at Puma Growth Partners, added: “HubBox has built a scalable solution to one of e-commerce’s most persistent challenges which is checkout integration for alternative delivery options. Their technical expertise, strong commercial traction and excellent courier relationships make them a standout player in the logistics tech space. The company is well on its way to becoming a dominant force in the future of e-commerce logistics and we are delighted to be backing Sam and the team on their next stage of growth.”
