This year’s winners showcase the talent driving innovation in AI, scale-ups, fintech, and public sector leadership.

The UK’s most outstanding tech entrepreneurs were honoured last night (18th June) at the 2025 Enterprise Awards, held at the prestigious Drapers’ Hall in the City of London.

Now in its 13th year, the Enterprise Awards celebrate excellence in innovation, leadership and growth, spotlighting the individuals powering the success of Britain’s tech sector. Renowned for championing entrepreneurial achievement, the awards recognise founders and business leaders at every stage of growth – from early-stage disruptors to fast-scaling ventures and sector-shaping pioneers. With this year’s cohort, the Enterprise Awards has now recognised more than 100 of the UK’s most visionary entrepreneurs since its inception.

The 2025 ceremony was co-hosted by Tola Sargeant, Chair of the Judging Panel and CEO of Archives of IT, alongside Paddy MccGwire, fellow judge and Senior Partner at Silverpeak. Together, they celebrated individuals who are not only building successful companies but also making a lasting contribution to the UK economy and society.

Sargeant commented: “It’s been a real privilege to chair the judging panel and see first-hand the exceptional calibre of this year’s entries. The innovation, leadership, and resilience demonstrated by these entrepreneurs is truly inspiring. From early-stage disruptors to seasoned founders scaling global businesses, the breadth and depth of talent is outstanding.”

John O’Connell, Founder of the Enterprise Awards and Executive Chairman at ScaleUp Group, added: “This year marks a major milestone, with over 100 entrepreneurs now recognised since the awards began. We’re proud to have celebrated some of the most transformative leaders in UK tech—including the likes of Alastair Bathgate of Blue Prism, Vishal Marria of Quantexa, and Poppy Gustafsson of Darktrace. The 2025 winners carry that legacy forward with ambition, courage, and impact.”

All proceeds from the event support the WCIT Charity, which funds initiatives focused on IT education, digital inclusion, and the responsible use of technology across the UK.
This year’s Enterprise Awards were proudly sponsored by Evelyn Partners, ScaleUp Group, Silverpeak, HSBC Innovation Banking, and Infoshare+/Omni Partners. Archives of IT was the impact partner, CommsCo served as the media partner, and the event management was by tx2events.
